“Mount Carmel was extolled by the prophet Isaiah almost three thousand years ago, when he announced that “it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.”

When I found the world globe bead, the passage above came immediately to mind. I used a variety of blue and green clear glass beads to symbolize the water in the fountains on the terraces, the faceted focal bead reminiscent of the terrace steps. The iridescent bead in the middle of the 19 beads on one end of the set represents the Shrine of the Bab, and the globe, of course, symbolic of the people of all nations coming to Mt. Carmel.
