I love water lilies! The spiritual symbolism of that beautiful flower really resonates with me. It emerges from the muddy depths of dark water, its petals opening and awakening to the light of day. As such, the lotus is symbolic of a pure human spirit rising above impurity to find its true station; seeking spiritual enlightenment. The lotus has great significance in many religions, including the Baha’i Faith. Little wonder the design of the Lotus Temple in India reflects such attributes!
